Ok, so we may not be Martha Stewart (who would want to be anyway!) but we sure made some good treats! It was fun to spend time together and get some baking done. The only bad part about it all is having all of those treats around to tempt me. I polished off most of the thumbprints already (After all, it is my duty since I am the only one that likes them!) Then there is the OCCASIONAL picking in the Almond Joy Balls, Fudgie Oatmeal Bars, Raison Bars, Fudge, Caramels, Haystacks and those oooh so unforgetable Peanut Butter Balls!
In all it was a wonderful afternoon. The only thing that would have made it better was a bit less whining from Kayla. We talked about how nice it will be when there are just adults and no kids there. Yes, easy for you all non pregnant women to say. At least your end is in sight! Don't wish away those days too fast!
Well, I can't wait for next year and maybe even Mom will be there instead of in her book! Ha, ha, ha! Love you all!
