Whats up with the Swensons

I am so glad Suzanne finally came to the blog. I would love to hear how the rest of you are. Our family is all doing really well. The kids are very anxious to be out of school, as I am sure all of yours are. Yesterday Haylie and I attended her kindergarten round up. O my, my baby is going to school next year. I can hardly believe she is old enough. Haylie had a great time getting to meet all the teachers, but still thinks Mrs. Marriott (who Shelby had) is the best because she gave them gummie bears and she knows Shelby. While I was there several of the school staff told me how much they loved my kids and how well behaved they are. Many said they were happy to welcome another Swenson at Club Heights. One of the aides said I need a good parent stamp of approval. This made me feel so good and very proud. You know how you try so hard to teach your kids and be a good parent that sometimes it is so nice to hear that all your hard work has paid off. I am very thankful that I was taught by great parents so that I could have an example to live up to. Thanks Mom and Dad!!! Well this morning Mike and I woke up at 4:30 am so that I could take him down to the shop to pick up a truck full of cabinets for a house in Vernal. Hopefully he will be back late tonight or tomorrow morning. Haylie, being such a daddy's girl, has a hard time when Dad has to go to Vernal. Every time he goes she seems to make herself sick. The way Mike's schedule works he is home many times in the early afternoon and as a lot of time to spend with the kids, so they really miss him when he is not here to play. Of course I miss him a lot too. We sound like a bunch of babies. I know some of you are thinking whats the big deal its only a day or two. I would agree we are pretty silly.
Well I don't have much else to tell you about. We keep plugging a long with work and school and enjoy our time as a family. We can't wait for the warm weather so we can go hiking, camping, and of course sailing. We love you all! Someone else please blog and let us know whats up with your gang.

I remember growing up and being one more of the Neeley girls. It was always so nice to have older siblings who paved a road of goodness ahead of me so I came in with a good reputation. It is nice to see the tradition continue!
